Local website GuSt and DiSjon Reykjavik design GuSt Reykjavik design, clothes that are designed and manufactured in Reykjavik Iceland by the fashion designer Guðrún Kristín Sveinbjörnsdóttir. Every woman has a favorite garment,one that is always in use, and treasured year after year. That is the goal when designing GuSt clothing. Only quality fabrics are used , and artisan detailing gives the clothes a one-off touch. The designs are modern and feminin with a special quirkiness that makes them different and fun to wear. Among the collection each time you can find one of a kind dresses, jumpers and jackets made of icelandic wool,and now the newest (and hottest) icelandic raw material, fish-leather, used in skirts and bags. All at surprisingly affordable prices. GuSt Reykjavik design has been sold in Reykjavík since 1997,at first in Nedanjardar, an experimental boutique where 7 young designers sold their creations. Since then GuSt has been sold in local shops like: Gallerí Mót, Dyrið, Koko, Kjallarinn, 21a on Skólavordustígur. And now in the designers own boutique,GuSt & dísjón, located on the main shopping street in Reykjavik, Laugavegur. |
